Decadent Chocolate Truffle Recipe
Making chocolate truffles is so much easier than you might imagine!
 8 oz. Premium Dark Chocolate 1/4 cup whipping cream 1 T butter 1/4 C coating of your choice (crushed candy cane, icing sugar, cocoa, finely chopped nuts)
Melt the chocolate in top of double boiler with the butter and cream. If you don’t have a double boiler, place pot in a pan of boiling water (just be sure not to let any water get into the chocolate mixture as it will seize). Stir until melted. Refrigerate until firm (about an hour) Spoon approximately 1 tsp of chocolate mixture and shape into balls. Put your coating on a plate and roll the balls in the coating of your choice. That’s it! Store in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator.
