Ooey, Gooey, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

1 cup melted butter 1 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 2tsp. vanilla 3 cups all purpose flour 3/4 tsp baking soda 1 pkg semisweet chocolate chips
Whisk together butter and both sugars and beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla Stir flour with baking soda, then stir into butter mixture 1 cup at a time. Mix in chocolate chips - you should get your hands into it at this point! Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, then freeze until firm (about 1 hour) Bake in 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes or until lightly golden around edges but still soft in center. Let cool on sheets for about 5 minutes and then transfer to racks to cool completely. Makes about 48 cookies.
